What volunteer roles are there?
We have a few volunteer positions available, have a look at them below! Just let us know what position you’d prefer at Training Day and we’ll make sure you volunteer there.
Make snacks, chat with families, watch kids and play games while parents swim. Perfect if you want to join but you’re not too keen on jumping in the water.
Help out teachers in the water. You’ll need to be a comfortable swimmer – no teaching experience required!
Lead our swim lessons!
You’ll need swim teacher qualifications, bronze medallion, lifesaving or similar.
Who can volunteer?
All are welcome to come and volunteer with us! You’ll just need a Working With Children’s Check (WWCC), a Vaccination Certificate, to have attended our Training Day and to be able to commit to the season dates.
If you don’t currently have a WWCC, no worries. Bring your form to Training Day and we’ll help you complete it! Just make sure you lodge the form before lessons start, we’ll need to see your receipt!
